Morning Poetry

Each heartbeat exuded…drives

weary fingers.

A craving and want that lurches

my mind, currents— electric-charged surging

through morning dawn.

Daylight rain-trodden sidewalks

voice sullen— innocent faces, pie-eyed: aware of

my overwhelming tiredness.

  1. Yes our morning can be a task to get moving, I’m tired this morning , my body aches, however I’m feeling happy within and looking forward to the challenge of a new day .
