Digital Art Wind Song

Expression of Nature in Digital Art Wind Song

In this, Digital Art Wind Song, I express my appreciation of the colorful changes from summer to fall, the vivid array of earthy tones, the way the air smells seeping through my window screen. The song of pitter, patter on the railing of my balcony, and how the wind sings lyrics of nature. What about you?

Digital Art Wing Song

It wasn’t so much
the wind blowing
that grasped my attention.

Wasn’t the branches suppose
to drop their leaves
because I never saw anything

so colorful
than maple on
black pavement.

It wasn’t that
the rain stopped me.

In Washington,
that’s inevitable
as a crocus
forcing snow to split.

Or ice that freezes hell—

It wasn’t that I was afraid
to breathe.

I could’ve held an umbrella—
But not me.

Someone like me who appreciates
the color
of the seasons.

It was that somewhere
I heard the wind song

Branches bending
like violin strings.
Branches transmitting
song effectively

Radiating music
into the surrounding air
and my ears.

It was wind song.
Breathy and exhilarating.

  1. Very interesting blog. A lot of blogs I see these days don’t really provide anything that attract others, but I’m most definitely interested in this one. Just thought that I would post and let you know.
