Micro-Poetry Acceptance

To take what is and use it to one’s ability is Micro-Poetry Acceptance.

Throughout life’s experiences, one should manifest into a meditative acceptance. Micro-Poetry Acceptance is identity, awareness, inquiry of the right small doses of life, of love. Within social circles, family, relationships, events that can echo of survival. Points of identification found in learning, contemplation, in the voices of remembering, forgiving, and growth.

Love isn’t perfect because love means acceptance.

You can’t love without accepting

everything in whole. Of self. Of others.

Micropoetry is a genre of poetic verse which is characterized by its extreme brevity. In other words, a micro-poem is a short poem. (MicroPoetry)

Micro-poetry is a collective term for a variety of different forms of short poetry. As a poetic artform, it doesn’t really have any rules. Although it does consists of certain forms of short poetry with fixed rules such as haikutankasenryu and gogyohka. There are also no real character length limitations either. The limits are set by the medium with which they are being shared, and also that invisible line where micro-poetry becomes a regular length poem.

Definition of Acceptance:

Acceptance in human psychology is a person’s assent to the reality of a situation, recognizing a process or condition (often a negative or uncomfortable situation) without attempting to change it or protest it. The concept is close in meaning to acquiescence, derived from the Latin acquiēscere (to find rest in).[1] (Wikipedia)

Micro-Poetry Emotions

Feelings collide with words in Micro-Poetry Emotions

You might enjoy micro-poetry emotions. One of the poetry’s amazing abilities is that in the words, one can exchange feelings from one person to another—between poet and reader, alive at one moment, or could be 10, 20, 30 years of age, across many languages and cultures of the world.

In addition, a poem can convey our most powerful emotions, which the poet writes about so passionately in lines, painful moments, happy moments—those hold mystery—filled with sunlight in one essence, rain in another, and then, maybe, filled with words that come from a person who is silent in suffering. Micro-poetry emotions and digital art piece of example.

sunlight also leaks

What is a Free Verse Poem? Typically, free verse is patterned by speech rather than a meter. Further, this form of poetry is very open to the author’s discretion and usually does not rhyme. Such as, visual and sound effects are often employed.  It can have as many lines as the writer wishes.

Micro-Poetry Love Stories

In this Micro-Poetry Love Stories

Through this micro-poetry love stories; I want to entertain the word “love stories.” In everything, there’s a starting point. A beginning, an end. With love, it’s that first twinkle, or gaze from another that sets the spark. But, with that thought in mind. Self-love is where it begins. I’ve seen couples in a relationship together for over 50 years. I wonder how this can be.

Is it two persons who are so confident in themselves, then add a blend of being able to communicate respectfully towards one another. I see the spark of passion still in their eyes after all this time.

But the most significant love story is the one which a person loves themselves for all that they are and accepts themselves of all their imperfections and perfections.

Micro-Poetry Love Stories

Love stories
are
inspired from
those
who love
themselves
first and foremost.

I have a friend whom I am mentoring. He has left me challenged. In the last two years, he has gone through 20 relationships ending badly. At first, I wondered about his choices in the ladies he had met. But over time, I could see the issue lye within himself.

He would fall for a lady. Then when she needed space, he felt threatened. I’m trying to help him incorporate journaling into this process of insecurity he is having. We are taking baby steps of learning to love self. I have high hopes for him and know one day; we will get to the point of himself being happy in the silence that embraces him.

I hope you’re all starting your Monday off to a great start. Have a blessed and prosperous week too!

©Linda J. Wolff, “Micro-Poetry Love stories.” In this series, life is challenging, especially when we grow from children to adults, the process in how we interpret the good, the bad, and ugly steps can change our perspective. Journaling for me is therapeutic. It’s healing to forgive mistakes you’ve made.
